Incognito / In-Private Browser Mode

In private browser mode, your browsing history, cookies, site data and information entered in forms will not be saved on your device. No activity or history will show after you've exited private browsing mode.
Using a private browser can be helpful at times, to troubleshoot if your browser is having an issue with a website or not. A technician may ask you to try opening your browser in Incognito/InPrivate mode so that we can test if your browser is having an issue with a website that you are trying to access but having problems doing so. See the following for how to access this browser function:

Google Chrome

Keyboard shortcut: Ctrl-Shift-N (Windows) or Command-Shift-N (macOS)

or click on the 3 dots to the top right of the window, and choose New Incognito window

Mozilla Firefox

Keyboard shortcut: Ctrl-Shift-P (Windows) or Command-Shift-P (macOS)

or click on the 3 lines to the top right of the window, and choose New private window

Microsoft Edge

Keyboard shortcut: Ctrl-Shift-N (Windows) or Command-Shift-N (macOS)

or click on the 3 dots to the top right of the window, and select New InPrivate window

Apple Safari

Keyboard shortcut: Command-Shift-N (macOS)

or Select File menu and click on the New private window
