Creating a Community Account and Loading Funds:
To create a community account, approach the Xerox copier and press the Power button to remove the system from standby.
Tap the keyboard button.
Enter the desired username. The username can be both numbers and letters and must be 4 to 8 characters. It is recommended that the patron use his or her phone number to ensure that the account is unique and easy to remember. Tap OK.
Enter the desired password. The password must also be 4 to 8 characters and can be both numbers and letters. Tap OK.
A confirmation screen will appear. Money can now be loaded to the account. Tap the Log Out icon at the top right.
Loading Funds:
Approach the Intercard Load-UP vending unit. Tap anywhere on the display. Tap Username/Password
Enter the username and password of the account that was created at the Xerox or your UVI ID number and Tap OK.
The account balance will be displayed. Insert money into the vending unit. It accepts bills and coins. Please note that the unit will not dispense change, be sure to use exact amounts. As money is inserted, the balance will reflect the deposits. Users can add a maximum of $40 to their community account. Tap Exit to finish.
Money has been added to the community account. Return to the copier and log back in. The new balance will be displayed. Tap Access Device.
Several functions will now be available, including copying, printing from a USB drive, and scanning.
Black and white prints and copies are $0.10 per page and $0.50 for color. Scanning is free and will not affect your balance. Be sure to log out of the account when finished, by tapping the account name at the top left of the Home screen and selecting Log Out.
